Welcome! Join us as twelve seventh and eighth grade students from Brooksville travel to Anchorage and McGrath for an educational adventure that includes the 2011 Iditarod Sled Dog Race.
Today we went to the ceremonial beginning of the Iditarod. The actual start of the race is in Willow. The ceremonial start is for public relations and Anchorage makes a lot of money off the tourists also.

It sounds like you really have a good understanding of commerce. Take lots of pictures and have a lot taken of you!
It's a pretty important event for the entire state and so very cool you are all there!
