Today was the start of the Iditarod, our hotel is really close so we just walked to the start. Last night work crews dumped snow on the street. The dogs were almost jumping out of their harnesses in anticipation! Today was really fun, we've been studying the Iditarod for six years now and today we got to see it in person.

What an amazing experience you all are having. Keep taking tons of pictures. They're fun to see right now, but will be even more fun to have in the future.
