Activities in McGrath

Included in some great learning opportunities while in McGrath are moose-hide bead working, a visit to the  McGrath Museum with a local historian, watching a Native Youth Olympics demonstration, and being interviewed by KSKO, the local radio station.   Thank you in advance to everyone in McGrath!

Dallas Seavey - Yukon Quest 2011 Winner!

Knorthern Lights Interview


I am so excited that we are going to be leaving for Alaska in almost two weeks. I just can't wait until we get on the plane and leave the airport. So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited that I had to write a song about the trip! This is going to be an amazing once in a life time experience and I couldn't have been happier to be sharing this time with my friends.

Iditarod Presentations

Another exciting event is coming up on Tuesday, February 15.  Walt Tremer, educator and sponsor of Lance Mackey, will do presentations at our school at 10 AM and noon.  The public is welcome to attend or feel free to stop by and chat with Mr. Tremer at our family supper and sledding event from 4 to 6 PM.
